This program condenses in 10 hours the operational fundamentals of trade finance, structured over 5 weeks with one 2-hour session per week. Each module is designed to give a concrete understanding of the mechanics used daily in banks, trading houses, and audit or consulting firms. The curriculum covers letters of credit (UCP 600, ISBP 745), international bank guarantees (URDG 758), Incoterms® 2020, the basics of commodity finance (pre-export, prepayment, borrowing base), KYC/AML compliance applied to trade, and country risk assessment. The focus is on real-world practice rather than theory, with case studies from the field. Target audience: junior professionals in banking, commodity trading, audit or consulting wanting to upskill; mid-career professionals transitioning to commodity trading; master's finance students looking for an operational complement to their academic curriculum.
