This policy describes how Trade Finance Academy collects and processes your personal data, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the EU GDPR where applicable.

Data collected

• Account: email, first name, last name (account creation).
• Billing: name and postal address if provided for the invoice.
• Payment: handled directly by Stripe (PCI DSS). No card data is stored by Trade Finance Academy.
• Participation: log of sessions attended and replay views.

Purposes

• Execute the training contract (access to sessions, replays, materials, certificate).
• Issue invoices and keep accounting records (legal obligation).
• Send operational communications about the cohort (D-7, D-1 reminders, Zoom link).

Processors

• Vercel (hosting, USA).
• Supabase (database and auth, AWS Frankfurt EU).
• Stripe (payments, PCI DSS certified).
• Resend (transactional emails).
• Zoom Video Communications (video conferencing).

Cookies

The site uses only strictly necessary cookies (authentication session, language preference). No marketing or tracking cookies are set.

Retention

Account data is kept as long as the account is active. Invoices and accounting data are kept for 10 years as required by Swiss law.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, object to, port and erase your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address listed in the legal notice. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection Commissioner (FDPIC) or your EU supervisory authority.
